A decade in and we're just getting started
As my mother’s caregiver, I wore more hats than I ever could have imagined.
My mom battled progressive multiple sclerosis for 28 years. During these decades I was not only her daughter—I was her best friend, therapist, nurse, advocate, and confidant as we juggled a complex system seemingly built to exhaust, strain, and wear out families.
Caregiving for my mom profoundly changed my life—as does being a mom today. It led me down a career path focused on making the lives of families easier, and it taught me something I’ll never forget: while my family’s care story was decidedly unique and personal, the journey we navigated was one that millions of families experience.
We launched Wellthy with the goal of making the lives of families and employees easier as they manage care, navigate healthcare, and experience so many pivotal moments in life: raising a family, caring for kiddos, supporting an aging parent or relative, saying goodbye to a cherished loved one, and all of the care situations that infuse our lives from birth through bereavement. We are the market-leaders in this space—with the deepest results, the most experienced teams, and an unmatched history of solving any and all needs a family experiences on their care journey.
I couldn't be prouder of where we are—covering millions of lives, working alongside 150+ companies (including 30+ Fortune 500s) to support their teams, partnering with leading health plans and providers, and building the type of innovative product and technology that makes care easier and meets the modern needs of today's employees and families.
And I couldn't be prouder of where we are going—expanding across the world to support today's global workforce, strengthening our foundation of care concierge and leveraging additional service offerings to support childcare and eldercare and self-care, and finding ways to strengthen and build the care economy and lift up the entire care sector—to build the care utopia for families that we've dreamt about each and every day since our beginning.
